Celebrating his wedding anniversary, Obama posts affectionate photos with his wife
President Obama celebrated his 24th wedding anniversary by posting photos and sweet messages to his wife on social media, attracting hundreds of thousands of likes.

On Facebook, the 55-year-old leader shared a photo of him dancing with First Lady Michelle at the 2009 Nobel banquet in Oslo, Norway, with the caption: "Dancing together for 24 years. Happy anniversary." The photo received more than 900,000 likes and tens of thousands of comments praising them as "the most inspiring couple on the planet."
On Twitter, Mr. Obama posted a photo of himself kissing his wife on the cheek after delivering the State of the Union address in 2010.
"24 years together. Many more years to come," he wrote, receiving 170,000 likes.

Many stars were quick to send their congratulations to the US President and his wife, including singer Usher, who praised the couple's "beautiful love".
Mr. Obama met Mrs. Michelle at a Chicago law firm in 1989, when she was appointed to a consulting role. The two began dating that summer and were engaged in 1991.
The couple married on October 3, 1992, and six years later welcomed their first daughter, Malia. They had a second daughter, born in 2001.
