Ky Son: Hundreds of gifts to policy families

(Baonghean.vn) - As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the border district of Ky Son organized the giving of hundreds of gifts and building gratitude houses for policy families in the area.

On this occasion, the Party Committee, government, organizations, individuals, agencies and schools in Ky Son district presented 288 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND to 144 families with meritorious services to the revolution; and presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to 10 families with meritorious services to the revolution in difficult circumstances.

In addition, the district leaders also transferred more than 284 gifts from the Central and the province to policy families; presented 11 savings books, each worth 5 million VND, to 11 families of martyrs and war invalids in difficult circumstances; supported and renovated 3 gratitude houses for 3 households of martyrs' relatives, each worth from 30 to 40 million VND./.
