Ky Son: Tornado rips off roofs of over 30 houses.

(Baonghean) - Information from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ky Son district indicates that at 2:30 PM on April 15th, a strong tornado struck the two villages of Ta Do and Xop Phe in Muong Tip commune, lasting about 30 minutes, tearing off roofs and damaging over 30 houses.

Immediately after the storm passed, the commune authorities reported to the District Flood and Storm Prevention Committee and directed the people to mitigate the damage. The District People's Committee sent a working group to the two villages to assess the damage and develop a plan for assistance.
