Ky Son: Tornado ripped off roofs of over 30 houses

(Baonghean) - Information from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ky Son district said that at 2:30 p.m. on April 15, in Ta Do and Xop Phe villages of Muong Tip commune, a strong tornado occurred, lasting about 30 minutes, blowing off roofs and damaging over 30 houses.

Immediately after the tornado passed, the commune authorities reported to the District Flood and Storm Prevention Committee and directed people to overcome the consequences. The District People's Committee sent a working group directly to the two villages to assess the damage and come up with a support plan.
