Ky Son: Building 270 solidarity houses for the poor.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Ky Son District Campaign Committee has raised 2.5 billion VND for the "Fund for the Poor," built 270 solidarity houses, provided thousands of trees, animals, and goods, and given 100 breeding cows to poor households.

On the afternoon of November 9th, Ky Son district held a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement; 20 years of implementing the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life in Residential Areas" campaign (1995-2015); and 10 years of implementing civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, and festivals.

Over the years, the implementation of cultural movements has had a positive impact on many aspects of social life, contributing to changing the appearance and improving the cultural and spiritual lives of the people, creating an important driving force for the successful implementation of political, economic, cultural, and social tasks in the district.

Rewarding groups and individuals with outstanding achievements.

To date, Ky Son district has 93 out of 193 hamlets and villages, and 14 communes with community cultural centers; 82 out of 193 hamlets and villages, 29 agencies, and 54% of families have achieved the title of "Culturally Advanced Family"; the poverty rate has decreased to 52.79%; and the average per capita income in 2015 is estimated at 15 million VND/year.

Domestic violence, child marriage, and social evils have been reduced. Most villages and hamlets have developed and implemented effective community regulations and customs; many good traditions and practices have been preserved.

Over the past 20 years, the district-level campaign committee has raised 2.5 billion VND for the "Fund for the Poor," built 270 solidarity houses, provided thousands of saplings, livestock, and goods, and given 100 breeding cows to poor households. They have also mobilized contributions to eliminate temporary housing for 75 poor households and repaired and upgraded houses for 219 households...

At the conference, Ky Son district awarded 12 collectives and 43 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing various movements.
