(Baonghean) - At this point, preparations for the national high school graduation exam have been completed. The exam steering committee of Vinh University, the Department of Education and Training, and localities throughout the province are conducting a final review of all related matters to ensure a serious, safe, and compliant exam.

Local examination clusters - efforts for a safe examination

The "My Younger Sibling Takes the Exam" program, first implemented by the Tuong Duong District Youth Union, aimed to support underprivileged students in the district who met the eligibility requirements to take the 2015 National High School Graduation Exam and the entrance exam in Vinh City. The District Youth Union directed the Youth Unions of the town, Xa Luong, and Thach Giam to assess the needs of the candidates. Based on this, they surveyed over 40 free rooms and accommodations to help students settle in during their journey to the town, prioritizing those from remote and rural areas. Over 70 candidates registered to take the exam in Vinh City received transportation support from the District Youth Union to ensure they arrived safely. During their time in the city, the District Youth Union coordinated with the Vinh City Youth Union to help students secure accommodation and safely transport them to and from the exam locations.

At the exam center of Tuong Duong 1 High School, more than 200 students were still diligently reviewing their lessons as the exam day approached. Speaking about the preparations for this year's exam, Mr. Bui Cong Thien, the school's principal, happily affirmed that they were "very good." He explained that, up to this point, in addition to organizing regular review sessions for the students and effectively managing their morale, no students have dropped out midway through the exam. The Tuong Duong 1 exam center has only 11 examination rooms with 251 candidates. To better serve the students, the school invested 35 million VND in purchasing additional fans, light bulbs, and installing a changeover switch system to prevent power outages. The District People's Committee assigned the district police and local authorities to coordinate in ensuring security, order, and traffic safety, absolutely preventing any incidents during the national high school graduation exam.

In preparation for the national high school graduation exam, the Department of Education and Training has directed members of the steering committee to inspect the infrastructure and security in various localities. At the Anh Son 1 High School examination site, where more than 500 candidates from four high schools in Anh Son district (Anh Son 1, Anh Son 2, Anh Son 3, and the Continuing Education Center) are taking the exam, preparations have been completed. Emphasis has been placed on providing adequate facilities for the examination rooms, including desks, chairs, fans, and lighting systems. The school grounds are regularly cleaned and maintained. The school's health room has prepared sufficient supplies of medicine and drinking water for the students.

Ms. Le Thi An, Vice Principal and Deputy Head of the local examination center in Anh Son 1, also shared: "This is the first year that all candidates in the entire district will be concentrated in one location. Therefore, our first concern is ensuring the safety of candidates from distant areas who have to cross the river, such as Tao Son and Lang Son communes. At the same time, the principals of the four schools have met, and each school will assign a teacher to supervise the candidates when they come to Anh Son 1 to take the exam." In Dien Chau district, Mr. Ngo Quang Long, Head of the Education Department and Deputy Head of the National High School Examination Steering Committee, affirmed that this is the first exam, so the district is creating all favorable conditions for the exam to take place seriously, safely, and in accordance with regulations: Dien Chau is one of three localities with two examination centers. Although the number of candidates at each center reaches more than 600, the district's steering committee has proactively worked with the leaders of the two schools, requiring the examination centers to ensure the necessary conditions regarding facilities and security. In addition, it is important to intensify public awareness campaigns to help people better understand the importance of the national exam so that they can cooperate and provide support...

Vinh examination cluster - ready to welcome candidates

This year, examination cluster No. 25, chaired by Vinh University, is welcoming a very large number of candidates, with over 37,000 applicants, ranking fourth nationwide after Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hai Phong. Because the exams are concentrated in one session, the number of "fake" applications is very low. Therefore, the number of candidates and their families will certainly increase two to three times during the four days of the national high school graduation exam. In light of this reality, Vinh University and the members of the exam steering committee are paying close attention to ensuring security, order, and traffic safety. As the agency responsible for security and order, the Vinh City Police Department has planned and assigned responsibilities to relevant units. Simultaneously, all forces are being mobilized to participate in protecting the exam, including the security and order team, traffic police team, mobile police team, administrative security and order management team, and social order investigation police team. Specifically, traffic police will be assigned to coordinate with the Provincial Youth Union to guide traffic and promptly resolve traffic safety issues on 5 main routes: Vinh University, Vinh University of Technology and Education, Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, and Nguyen Trai School.

With 13 years of experience successfully organizing the national high school graduation exam, Vinh University has now completed all preparations for the national high school graduation exam. For the past month, the printing, copying, and organization of data related to exam candidates by exam room and examination board have been meticulously and carefully carried out by Vinh University's data organization department, promptly correcting any errors in candidate records. Although Vinh University has arranged 60 exam locations with approximately 1,200 exam rooms in Vinh City and the surrounding districts of Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo Town, and Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh province), all locations have ensured modern facilities and convenient transportation, as well as accommodation and meals for candidates and their families. In particular, the university has strived to arrange conditions so that each candidate, even those taking multiple subjects, does not have to travel from the same exam location.

Dr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, Head of Training Department, Vinh University, affirmed: Although this is the first exam organized, candidates and parents can rest assured because the university and relevant authorities will create all conditions for candidates to participate in the exam in the best possible way. We will strive to fulfill our responsibilities to ensure that the exam takes place normally, seriously, safely, and in accordance with regulations…
