According to statistics from the 2025 high school graduation exam, 936 candidates received failing scores (scores ≤1) and face the risk of not being recognized as graduates. Notably, Mathematics accounted for an overwhelming proportion with 777 failing scores, a 10-fold increase compared to the previous year.

According to Article 45 of the Regulations on High School Graduation Exams issued with Circular 24/2024/TT-BGDDT, candidates are recognized as graduating from high school when they meet the following conditions: being eligible to take the exam, not being disciplined to cancel exam results, all exam subjects achieving above 1 point on a 10-point scale and having a graduation score of 5 points or higher.
Thus, the failing score in the 2025 high school graduation exam is 1 point or less.
