There are many types of bananas, farmers only prefer the fragrant banana and moldy banana varieties.

Mr. Phan Cong Quynh - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Suoi Tan Commune said that the whole commune has about 5 hectares of banana growing area, bananas are grown around the mountainous area. Currently, the price of old fragrant bananas is from 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg, especially the moldy bananas that people sell by the bunch. He said that the old fragrant bananas here have straight stems, the fruits are divided into many different directions. In the case of bananas with a curved shape and the fruits facing one direction, this is the first time he has heard of the information.

The banana bunch is still young and cannot be harvested yet.

Ms. Ha also said that her family has been growing the fragrant banana variety for a long time, because this is a banana variety that provides a lot of nutrients, usually has 7-10 bunches, and the average selling price is 10,000 VND/kg. However, the strange-looking fragrant banana bunch has small fruit, and the bunches are also less than the other bunches in the garden. Some people have asked to buy it, but she has not sold it yet, waiting for it to grow bigger to sell for a higher price. She said that these past few days, she was afraid of thieves cutting it down, so she has been on constant watch.
