Strange but true: Rich people buy tanks
We are all too familiar with luxury supercars, yachts, airplanes… But perhaps from now on, the standard of sophistication has been raised to a new level, when the trend of buying… cars has flourished among the super-rich.
Brothers Michael and Geoff Howe are the founders of Howe and Howe Technologies, which sold a fleet of tanks to Dubai prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
Of course, their customers can only be billionaires and millionaires – the richest people on the planet. Because each of these luxury cars costs up to half a million USD (more than 11 billion VND).

When the Howes aren’t selling high-end vehicles to ordinary people, they’re selling them to governments. Their RS1, for example, is designed to reduce the destructive power of explosive devices. The RSBI Swat-Bot is designed to be easily transported and used to protect police officers. Each one costs at least $100,000.
Tanks built for civilian use and sold to billionaires are more expensive, starting at around $595,000. But add-ons like infrared imaging for nighttime excursions or armored armor for who-knows-what purpose can push the price even higher.
However, besides the purpose of being able to show off on these magnificent cars, the experience of driving an indestructible car is also extremely interesting.
