Lac Son (Do Luong) mobilized more than 152 billion VND to build new rural areas
(Baonghean.vn) - The total capital mobilized for new rural construction in Lac Son commune (Do Luong) reached over 152.6 billion VND. This is one of the communes that has done well in attracting investment resources.

On the morning of March 19, Lac Son commune (Do Luong) held a ceremony to receive the commune meeting the new rural standards. Attending the ceremony were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief of the Office of New Rural Coordination of Nghe An province. |
In the past time, the cadres and people of Lac commune have made many efforts, completing 19/19 criteria for new rural construction, developing socio-economy, and improving people's lives.
From 2011 to 2016, the active participation of the entire political system and all classes of people in building the new rural area was mobilized with a total mobilized capital of over 152 billion VND, of which 106 billion VND was mobilized from the people - accounting for over 79%. Lac Son is one of the communes that has done a good job of attracting investment resources.

Also mobilized people to donate 113,000 m2 land, worth 7 billion VND to build rural infrastructure.
The current average income per capita is 29 million VND/year, the number of poor households is 2.82%. It has attracted and invested in the construction of dozens of projects, built 25km of asphalt roads; 12km of concrete canals and 17.4km of intra-field roads.

The hamlets have invested in upgrading and building 9/9 hamlet cultural houses to ensure that cultural institutions meet standards. 100% of households have access to national grid electricity and audio-visual equipment. 98% of households use clean, hygienic water, 7/9 hamlets and the annual rate of cultural families reaches over 85%, 2 schools meet national standards. National defense and security are maintained.

At the ceremony, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu presented the Certificate of recognition of meeting new rural standards from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Lac Son commune along with 500 million VND to build a welfare project.
On this occasion, the leaders of Do Luong district awarded 100 million VND and certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to join hands in building new rural areas./.
