ACB Bank interest rates in April 2025

In April 2025, Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) continued to maintain its savings interest rates for both in-person and online deposits. The highest interest rate currently offered by ACB is 6% per year, however, this only applies to deposits of VND 200 billion or more with a 13-month term.

For individual customers depositing savings using traditional methods and receiving interest at the end of the term, interest rates range from 2.3% to 4.5% per year, depending on the term. Specifically, short-term terms such as 1 month and 2 months are subject to interest rates of 2.3% and 2.5% per year, respectively. These rates remain stable compared to the previous month.

When depositing savings for a period of 3 to 5 months, customers will receive interest rates ranging from 2.7% to 3.1% per year. Interest rates increase progressively with the term; for example, 3 months is 2.7%, 4 months is 2.9%, and 5 months is 3.1%. For a 6-month term, the interest rate reaches 3.5% per year, while the 9-month term maintains a rate of 3.7% per year.

If depositing for 12 months, ACB is currently applying an interest rate of 4.4%/year. For longer terms such as 13 to 36 months, the applicable interest rate is uniformly 4.5%/year. However, for the 13-month term, there is a special preferential interest rate of up to 6%/year if customers deposit 200 billion VND or more. This is the highest interest rate in ACB's current interest rate schedule and is only available to customers with large deposit amounts.

In addition, ACB continues to apply an interest rate of 0.5%/year for very short terms from 1 to 3 weeks. This rate has remained unchanged for several months and is mainly for flexible deposits with short durations. Overall, ACB's interest rate schedule in April remains quite stable and clearly differentiated by term and deposit amount, suitable for various financial needs of customers.

In April 2025, ACB Bank continued to maintain its interest rate schedule for online savings deposits. Interest rates are divided into five specific groups based on deposit amounts: under 200 million VND, from 200 million to under 1 billion VND, from 1 billion to under 5 billion VND, and over 5 billion VND. Each deposit group has a different interest rate; the larger the deposit amount, the higher the interest rate.

For a 1-month term, if customers deposit less than 200 million VND, they will receive an interest rate of 3.1% per year. This rate will increase to 3.2% per year for deposits from 200 million to less than 1 billion VND. For deposits from 1 billion to less than 5 billion VND, the interest rate is 3.25% per year, and the highest rate is 3.3% per year for deposits over 5 billion VND.

Similarly, for a 2-month term, online savings interest rates range from 3.2% to 3.4% per year, depending on the deposit amount. The interest rate will steadily increase with each deposit level.

For a 3-month term, ACB lists interest rates of 3.5%, 3.6%, 3.65%, and 3.7% per year for deposit amounts. This is a reasonable interest rate for those who want to make short-term savings deposits and still want to enjoy a higher return compared to 1-2 month terms.

When customers choose a deposit term of 6 months or more, the interest rate will range from 4.2% to 4.4% per year. Depending on the deposit amount, depositors will receive different interest rates within this range.

For the 9-month term, interest rates are also differentiated according to deposit amount as follows: 4.3%, 4.4%, 4.45%, and the highest is 4.5%/year.

The 12-month term – one of the most popular choices – currently offers the most attractive interest rate. ACB applies interest rates for this term ranging from 4.9% to 5.1% per year, depending on the amount deposited by the customer.

For short-term savings accounts of only 1 to 3 weeks, ACB maintains the interest rate at 0.5%/year, primarily to support the need for flexible deposits over very short periods.
