Besides its medicinal uses, mugwort is also excellent for skin care.

Mugwort also has the effect of stimulating the growth of new skin and healing wounds.

Mugwort also contains a beneficial component for skin beauty: tannin, which helps prevent the appearance of small blisters, treat eczema, and some other types of dermatitis.

Mugwort also helps break down fats and remove impurities from the skin, effectively cleansing oily skin. Furthermore, mugwort retains moisture, providing good protection for dry skin. Therefore, mugwort can be used on all skin types.

Beauty remedies using mugwort

Boil 25-50g of dried mugwort leaves in 1000ml of water. Cover the pot tightly, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for another 20 minutes. Strain the liquid through a cloth, pour into a clean, dry bottle, and store in the refrigerator for later use. Alternatively, boil 5g of dried mugwort leaves in 200ml of water and consume within the day.

In the evening, after washing your face, apply a compressed face mask soaked in mugwort water prepared according to the above recipe (you can dilute it), and apply it to your face and areas with rough skin. After about 4-5 minutes, when the mask dries naturally, remove the paper and you can apply some moisturizer to replenish nutrients. If you are worried that the compressed mask may contain fragrances that could cause allergies or reduce its effectiveness, you can replace it with a clean gauze pad or cotton cloth.

This remedy made from mugwort will help nourish the skin, treat itching, eczema, and blisters. For young children and people with sensitive skin, it can be diluted to reduce skin irritation.
