Speaking at the conference to review the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of the year held by the Central Internal Affairs Commission on the afternoon of July 4, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission said that with the efforts of the staff, together with the strong direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat, the Internal Affairs Commission has successfully completed the key tasks set out, the quality and efficiency of many aspects of work continue to be improved.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac noted that the Committee needs to focus on completing the development of 3 projects to submit to the Central Executive Committee and the Politburo according to the plan, including: Project on building and perfecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's rule of law state; Project on "Regulations on controlling power to prevent and combat corruption and negativity (PCTN, TC) in investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments"; Project on "researching and proposing models of specialized agencies and units to combat corruption".

“In the immediate future, it is necessary to coordinate with the Central prosecution agencies to unify criteria and strong differentiation mechanisms, remove difficulties and obstacles, clarify the nature, and thoroughly handle cases and lawsuits related to Viet A, FLC, Tan Hoang Minh... Review, advise and direct the inspection and examination of cases and lawsuits according to the plan of the Steering Committee” - Mr. Phan Dinh Trac emphasized,

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission also proposed to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the work of guiding, urging, and supervising internal affairs and anti-corruption work at localities and central ministries and branches; at the same time, guide, urge, and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in establishing provincial-level Steering Committees for Anti-Corruption and Anti-Corruption; promptly grasp emerging issues regarding security and order, corruption and negative cases, and cases with serious signs of injustice and wrongdoing that the press and public opinion are interested in to advise the Steering Committee leaders on handling.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac also requested the Internal Affairs sector to further enhance its responsibility and courage in giving opinions on personnel work, especially for cadres and leaders assigned to monitor the area to have a firm grasp of the situation of the agency, unit, and locality, and to overcome the situation of slow responses and responses that are not in line with the purpose and requirements of personnel work./.
