Identify the individuals using homemade weapons.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Do Luong District Police have just announced that they are currently finalizing the paperwork to prosecute Nguyen Van Tuan (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 5, Xuan Son Commune, Do Luong District, for the illegal use of homemade weapons.
Recently, in Xuan Son commune, Do Luong district, several individuals have been secretly using homemade guns, causing disruption to village security. After a period of coordinated investigation and gathering information from the public, on June 3rd, the Do Luong District Police, in coordination with the Xuan Son Commune Police, conducted a surprise inspection of the house of Ms. Le Thi Tan (born in 1935), residing in Hamlet 5, Xuan Son commune.
During an inspection and search, the Do Luong District Police discovered a homemade gun without a barrel hidden in a buffalo shed, two nunchucks, and a sword concealed inside the house. According to Mrs. Tan's statement, the weapons belonged to her grandson, Nguyen Van Tuan (born in 1993), also residing in Hamlet 5, Xuan Son Commune. Immediately afterward, the Do Luong District Police summoned Nguyen Van Tuan for questioning regarding the incident.

During questioning at the police station, Tuan confessed that in February 2014, he worked as a laborer at the Sung Bung hydroelectric plant in Pa Bhinh commune, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province. There, he saw ethnic minority people making homemade guns for hunting and secretly learned how to do it. In early April 2014, upon returning home, Tuan successfully made a gun and gave it to Hoang The Dung, residing in Hamlet 4, Xuan Son commune, to use.
Currently, the police are finalizing the paperwork to penalize Nguyen Van Tuan, while continuing to investigate and clarify the identities of the remaining individuals illegally possessing homemade weapons in the area.
