Great revolutionary of the early 20th century
Patriot Nguyen Sy Sach (alias Kiem Phong) was born on January 20, 1905 in a poor Confucian family in Tu Vien village, Xuan Lam commune (now Thanh Luong commune), Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province.
As a child, he was known to be intelligent and studious, and soon absorbed the patriotic tradition of the scholars in Nghe - Tinh. With a deep love for his country, Nguyen Sy Sach joined the Viet Restoration Association - a revolutionary organization very early.
In the fall of 1927, Nguyen Sy Sach was sent to Guangzhou to attend a training class on Marxism-Leninism held by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League. The person who directly taught the class was the patriot Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh.

Nguyen Sy Sach once held the position of Secretary of the Central Region of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association. At the National Youth Congress of the Youth Association, he was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the General Department, in charge of domestic work.
On July 28, 1929, Nguyen Sy Sach was arrested by the French, sentenced to life imprisonment, and exiled to Lao Bao prison (Quang Tri). In prison, he and other revolutionary soldiers continued to organize the struggle. Frightened by the revolutionary spirit of the communist soldiers, the French attacked and suppressed them. Nguyen Sy Sach was shot dead by the enemy at 5:00 p.m. on December 19, 1929, when he was only 24 years old. The history of the revolutionary struggle of the country and homeland will forever engrave his name as a symbol of the spirit of uprising for national independence and freedom.

Many new studies
Nguyen Sy Sach is a great revolutionary, many seminars have been organized to study and research him. However, there are still not many studies about him, there are still many gaps in his life, revolutionary career and his contribution to the history of struggle of his homeland and country that have not been adequately studied. Especially the pre-Soviet period of Nghe - Tinh (1930-1931).
It can be seen that although his time of working and leading the revolutionary movement was short (1925-1929), it was rich, heroic and glorious. He went abroad 5 times (4 of which were successful) and was one of President Ho Chi Minh's students.
The life and revolutionary career of Mr. Nguyen Sy Sach is a shining example of a patriotic intellectual, a revolutionary turned communist soldier, and a courageous and steadfast leader in the early days of the Party's founding.
