(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An police have just discovered two cases of illegal transportation and gathering of forest products in Cao Veu village, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district, seizing about 26 tons of various types of wood.

At around 8:30 p.m. on January 20, upon receiving information that some people were illegally transporting forest products in Cao Veu village, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district, the provincial police leadership directed the Mobile Police Company of the Mobile Police Department to go to the scene to verify the information.

Previously, during the patrol and control, the Traffic Police Team of Anh Son District Police received a report that in Cao Veu 4 village, Phuc Son commune, there was a quantity of wood gathered in a stream of unknown origin. The Traffic Police force coordinated with the Criminal - Economic - Drug Investigation Police Team to verify and discovered 20m of various types of wood hidden in a stream and bushes.

The working group made a record and notified the owner of the wood, but no one came forward to claim it. Currently, Anh Son District Police have seized the wood to handle it according to the law.
