Representatives of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police and local authorities visited and shared the loss with the victim's family.

According to information from Mr. D's relatives, in early 2017, following the invitation of some acquaintances, Mr. D. and his wife went to China to work illegally.

After arriving in China, Mr. D. and his wife worked for a plastic manufacturing facility managed by a Chinese boss, with wages paid based on products, and the workers had to cover all food and accommodation expenses.

On July 13, after a tiring day of work, Mr. D. suddenly died in a foreign land.

According to statistics, Minh Loc commune currently has more than 100 people working illegally in China, of which 2 have died.

Due to the lack of legal documents, most of them have to live in hiding to avoid being caught by the local police. Therefore, when they are sick, ill, or have an accident, they are not entitled to any benefits. Even if they die, their families have to take care of the expenses and find a way to bring the body back to their hometown for burial.
