For the first time, a Lotus-themed culinary show will be held on Vinh pedestrian street.
The Vinh pedestrian street activities starting from the evening of November 29th will have an additional attractive highlight: the Nghe An Lotus Tourism and Culinary Festival. For the first time, this festival will feature many cultural and culinary performances showcasing lotus-themed cuisine combined with tea tasting, with the participation of renowned cultural and culinary experts.
From today (November 29th) to December 1st, 2024, the Nghe An Lotus Food Festival will be held at the Provincial Cultural Center and Ho Tung Mau Pedestrian Street in Vinh City. In addition to the vibrant cultural and artistic activities on the pedestrian street, the Lotus Food Festival will offer locals and tourists unforgettable experiences through cuisine made from lotus ingredients from the Lotus Village, the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh.
Public performances are activities that are widely presented for the public to enjoy within the festival space. Here, renowned cultural and culinary experts will demonstrate the art of preparing dishes using lotus ingredients. Through their performances, they not only showcase their cooking and preparation skills but also spread the unique and refined culture of enjoying lotus dishes.

The festival program is held on a large scale, with participation from many provinces and cities, featuring booths promoting and introducing tourism, cuisine, culture, and lotus-related products; leaving a mark of lotus cuisine on the Vietnamese culinary tourism map. The event also connects and promotes tourism products of Nghe An as well as other provinces and cities nationwide.
