First time opening direct train running Vinh - Saigon every day

(Baonghean.vn) – To serve the travel needs of people from Ho Chi Minh City to the North Central provinces and vice versa. On the evening of February 27, Saigon Railway Transport Company launched trains SE21 and SE22 running directly on the Vinh – Saigon route and vice versa.

Train SE21/22 is developed based on the previous Saigon - Hue train route, extending the journey to Vinh Station. Train SE22 departs from Saigon at 12:05 and train SE21 departs from Vinh Station at 21:50 every day.

From February 27, the SE21/22 train pair Vinh - Saigon and vice versa officially started operating daily.

The ticket price of the SE21/22 train pair is built by Saigon Railway Transport Company, which is 10-15% lower than the ticket price of the SE train pair (depending on the seat type). On the first day of opening, passengers taking the SE21 train from Vinh Station will receive a promotion of an additional 20% discount on ticket prices.
