Investment wave from Japan is shifting to Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 4, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with a Japanese business delegation chaired by Juroku Bank, Gifu province within the framework of the delegation's investment environment survey trip in Nghe An.

Attending the working session, on behalf of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

On the Japanese business delegation side, there was Mr. Kazuhito Akiba - CEO of Juroku Bank, along with many businesses from Gifu and Aichi provinces of Japan.

Provincial leaders welcome Japanese enterprises to visit and survey the investment environment in Nghe An.

After nearly 1 year, Nghe An and Gifu signed a cooperation agreement, the two sides have carried out many practical cooperation activities in the fields of agriculture, tourism, investment, trade, education, culture... Juroku Bank is an active and effective bridge in introducing the potential and strengths of Nghe An to businesses in Gifu province and other provinces in Japan through seminars with customers and accompanying businesses to survey in Nghe An.

On October 25, Nghe An also successfully organized the Investment - Tourism - Trade Promotion Seminar in Gifu province with the participation of many local businesses.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong pledged to create the most favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises to come to Nghe An.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong was pleased to see that more and more Japanese enterprises are interested in Nghe An. “The large number of companies and members participating in this delegation is a positive sign and a real interest of enterprises in surveying the reality and understanding more about Nghe An,” said the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, he pledged to create the most favorable conditions for Japanese investors to learn and effectively do business in the province.

After listening to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa specifically introduce the potential and strengths of Nghe An and policies to attract investment for foreign investors, the representative of the working delegation, Mr. Kazuhito Akiba - CEO of Juroku Bank emphasized that the investment wave from Japan is shifting to Vietnam, and Nghe An is one of the attractive destinations in the eyes of businesses from the land of cherry blossoms.

The two sides had specific and practical exchanges on investment fields, preferential policies and support of Nghe An province for foreign investors in general and Japanese investors in particular, answering questions of potential investors on environmental issues, high-tech agriculture, human resources capable of using Japanese... laying the foundation for future cooperation opportunities.

Japanese business delegation listened to an introduction to the general planning for the Southeast Economic Zone.

Cua Lo Port is also the destination of this survey trip of Japanese enterprises. They are very interested in the convenience of sea transport; specifically learn about the capacity of receiving ships and loading and unloading goods at the port.
