According to the report of VSIP Nghe An Company Limited, up to now, 20 companies have committed to invest in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park with a total expected investment capital of more than 100 million USD on a total land area of ​​more than 80 hectares. 12 companies have been granted Investment Certificates, 6 companies have come into operation and it is expected that by the end of 2018, 2 more companies will come into operation, attracting more than 2,000 workers.

Up to now, Phase 1A Industrial Park (128 ha) has leveled about 122 ha of land. The infrastructure system is quite complete with 1 main road and 8 internal roads. The wastewater drainage system, rainwater drainage system, water supply system and lighting system along the above roads have been invested. Currently, 2 internal roads are under construction and will be completed in mid-January 2018. In addition, VSIP Nghe An has also completed the construction of a number of works serving the activities of the industrial park including: Wastewater treatment plant, Fire protection station, Office, pre-built factory. In Industrial Park 1B (98 ha), about 70 ha of leveling has been completed.

In the Urban, Commercial and Service Area Phase 1A (41 ha), 100% of the area has been leveled. The first products are expected to be introduced to the market in the second quarter of 2019.

VSIP Nghe An representative said that Nghe An province and the project area government have always provided maximum support, creating great convenience for investors during the implementation process. Through investment promotion conferences abroad and direct contact with customers, VSIP Nghe An has seen that there is a wave of FDI textile investors who are very interested in Nghe An province. Therefore, in the coming time, the prospect of attracting foreign-invested textile enterprises to Nghe An is very large.
