(Baonghean.vn) - After 10 years of implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products", there have been positive changes from businesses, consumers and state management agencies, awareness of consuming Vietnamese products has been clearly improved.
On the morning of May 28, the Steering Committee of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the province held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing the campaign.

Attending and directing the conference were comrades: Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, member of the Central Steering Committee of the campaign; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee of the campaign; Comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Along with the trade promotion program, supporting businesses to promote product brands, the Steering Committee of the campaign has done a good job of propaganda and mobilizing people to understand and use Vietnamese products through movements such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Residential areas say no to dirty food production"...
The authorities also increased market inspection and control activities, detected counterfeit, fake, poor quality, and unknown origin goods; resolutely handled acts of trade fraud and cross-border smuggling, creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese goods to have a market and reach consumers.

The campaign has contributed to supporting Vietnamese businesses to develop and build brands, positively impacting consumers on domestically produced goods.
State management agencies have become more aware of the importance of the domestic market, strengthened import control, implemented solutions to develop the domestic market, and strengthened market inspection and control to protect domestic goods and markets.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates and giving directions at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Xuan Son acknowledged the results achieved in 10 years of implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; affirming that the campaign, implemented according to the policy of the Politburo, is one of the important solutions to contribute to solving the difficulties of the economy. Thereby, strongly promoting patriotism, building a consumer culture of Vietnamese people and producing many Vietnamese goods with high quality and competitiveness, meeting domestic consumption and export.

To further improve the effectiveness of the campaign, comrades suggested that it is necessary to innovate and combine many forms of propaganda, creating a far-reaching effect to have a stronger impact to change the psychology, behavior and habits of consumers. Continue to promote activities to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses to improve product quality, meet the tastes and needs of consumers. At the same time, define more clearly and specifically the tasks of each industry and each locality to implement the campaign more effectively...
On this occasion, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
