There, once a week, the club will gather members to meet and carry out activities. Every month, the club will have a performance to introduce new performances to the whole school.

Every few months, the club will invite artisans or singers, artists to come and talk or instruct club members about songs, dances or teach traditional tunes of ethnic minorities. The participation of special guests such as musician Vi Thi Phuong, singer La Hoang Quy, meritorious artisan Minh Nguyet, choreographer Hoai Thu, MC Hong Son. ... is also a recognition of the efforts of the club's management board. And the artists themselves also want to join hands to spread the values ​​of national culture and art.

Previously, the art club of the provincial Ethnic Minority High School was the heart and soul of the school and the principal of the school - Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Hoa, with the hope that this playground would be a place to gather cultural and artistic "nuclei" for the provincial Ethnic Minority High School. Moreover, it would meet the needs of living, enjoying and creating cultural and artistic activities of the students, aiming at the goal of training a generation of students to develop comprehensively in terms of intelligence, qualities, skills, thinking ability and creativity. This will also be a place to preserve and promote the cultural characteristics of ethnic groups and thereby contribute to preserving, conserving and effectively promoting the traditional folk culture and arts of the ethnic minorities in the province.

Since its establishment, the advantage of the club is its large number of members with diverse ethnic cultural identities. When joining the club, depending on their own talents and strengths, students will be divided into 5 groups and will be in charge of activities such as musical instruments - singing, dancing, drama - MC, and communication. In addition, the clubs will also regularly maintain cultural and artistic activities such as bamboo dancing, gong playing, and carving in extracurricular activities or school festivals.

Initiating the association with the club from the early days of its establishment, Mr. Tran Dinh Huy - Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union - Club Manager shared: Our school gathers students from all regions of the province, representing many different ethnic groups. Study well and develop comprehensively

Starting with 45 members, after one year, the number of members of the ethnic arts club of the provincial Ethnic Minority High School has reached nearly 80 people. The members of the club are also the school's excellent students because they not only sing well, play musical instruments well, but also have academic performance that is often among the top of the class...

A year before starting to register for the club, Ho Sy Thai - a 12th grade A1 student made a commitment with the promise that "participating in the club will not affect my studies". In order to be able to do well in "two roles", Thai studied more and more diligently and never made his teachers upset.

In his first year joining the club, Thai won first prize at the 2020 Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Competition with a project in the field of system software. This school year, although he is preparing for the High School Graduation Exam and the Provincial Physics Competition, Thai, as the leader of the traditional musical instrument group, is still an active member of the club.

A Thai ethnic student from Tan Ky district also shared: At home, my grandfather and father both know at least one musical instrument, so since I was in middle school, I have loved it very much.music.In grade 9, I started to get acquainted with the Mong ethnic flute and then taught myself through Youtube. Up to now, I can play many types of flutes fluently and am very happy to pass on my passion to many other students in the school.

Lau Nguyen Huong Giang is also an active member of the club. The Mong girl from Ta Ca commune - Ky Son district admits that she "can't sing well or dance well" but has a special pride in her ethnic culture. Taking on the role of MC in each performance of the club, Lau Nguyen Huong Giang has the opportunity to introduce to everyone the unique cultural values ​​of her homeland and the traditional customs that have been preserved for thousands of years.

With a love for brocade culture, in grade 10, Giang and another classmate also won first prize in the provincial Science and Technology competition with the topic "Nghe An ethnic minority students with the preservation and development of traditional brocade weaving villages".

Good academic achievements are also the motivation for the club to operate more and more effectively. Over the past year, the art club of the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School has participated in many performances organized by the Department of Education and Training and the Ethnic Committee, leaving good impressions.

In particular, in 2020, the club won first prize at the Vinh City Student Singing Festival, third prize at the Vinh City Music and Dance Group Festival in 2020, and a number of individuals also won promising prizes at competitions organized by the city youth union...
