New generation Land Rover Discovery arrives in Vietnam, price from 4.3 billion

The 5th generation of the Range Rover Discovery all-terrain vehicle with 7 seats, 3-liter V6 engine, 340 horsepower.

The 5th generation Land Rover Discovery changes the chassis material, using many aluminum alloy parts, helping the car reduce 480 kg in weight compared to the previous Discovery 4. The British car company expects the new generation Discovery to be the best family SUV.

The new generation Land Rover Discovery is for sale from 4.3 billion VND to 5.5 billion VND, depending on the additional function packages.

The highlight of Discovery 2017 is the spacious 7-seat interior design with a total length of nearly 5 m, remote control, using a smartphone application to set up seat configuration, and a large luggage compartment.

The new generation SUV in foreign markets is equipped with 9 USB ports, 3G, Wifi hotspot for 8 devices at the same time and supports a pulling capacity of up to 3.5 tons, wading ability of 900 mm.

Discovery 5 interior in Vietnam.

The new Discovery in Vietnam has 3 versions including SE, HSE and HSE Luxury. Land Rover equips the Discovery 2017 with air suspension, four Terrain Response driving modes, 19-inch alloy wheels and a standard dual-zone air conditioning system.

The SE version uses leather seats, navigation system, automatic air conditioning. The HSE version uses premium Windsor leather, Meridian sound system, satellite connection, panoramic sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights.

On the HSE Luxury version, the interior uses Windsor leather, 21-inch rims, electric sunroof, rear-seat entertainment system, and a series of top safety equipment.

All three versions of the new Discovery in Vietnam use a 3-liter V6 turbocharged gasoline engine with 340 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

In the Vietnamese market, Land Rover Discovery is in the same market segment as German SUV models such as Audi Q7 and BMW X5.
