Chau Doc floating village (An Giang province), a famous freshwater fish farming area, has just "changed its appearance", expecting to become a new destination for tourists when coming to this locality.

Chau Doc raft village stretches from the confluence of Chau Doc river to the headwaters of Hau river and Chau Doc river in An Phu district (An Giang province), a unique tourist destination in recent years.

On each fish raft, the owners both raise fish and live like a normal house on land. The fish rafts are located close together, stretching about 4km.

In order to attract tourists, the Trade and Investment Promotion Center of An Giang province has implemented the project "Colorful raft village at Chau Doc river junction", painting 6 colors (red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple) for more than 160 fish rafts located in Da Phuoc town, An Phu district.

Currently, over 50 fish rafts have been "repainted", initially creating a beautiful effect. After the painting is completed, the project is expected to call for social participation to install LED lights in the painted colors, creating a unique, colorful highlight at night.
