Live TV show "Chung doa Sen Hong"
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 13, Nghe An Radio and Television Station and Dong Thap Radio and Television Station co-organized a live television program with the theme "Sharing the Pink Lotus".
Attending the program, on the side of Dong Thap province, there were comrades: Le Minh Hoan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Ton Hoang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The live TV program with the theme "Sharing the Pink Lotus" is a practical activity to celebrate the 128th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2018).
The program was carried out for the first time by the two provinces, aiming to further deepen the understanding of Uncle Ho's life and great revolutionary career; his great affection for the people of the South and the steadfast belief of the people of the South in Uncle Ho and the revolution.

The program "Chung doa Sen Hong" is a story about patriotism and family love of the nation's outstanding leader; it is a bridge connecting two lands, two cultural regions connected by people who made the history of the nation: Vice-Chuong Nguyen Sinh Sac and President Ho Chi Minh.

At the program, the audience enjoyed typical songs with the sounds of Nghe Tinh folk songs and Southern folk songs, praising Uncle Ho, the country, the homeland, and the North-South love, which were elaborately staged and choreographed, performed by famous artists from all over the country.
Besides, there are reports introducing the cultural history of the two lands, about historical relics: Kim Lien relic site, Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site, scenic spots of the two localities...

Dong Thap is known as the land of pink lotus with the famous poem: "Thap Muoi has the most beautiful lotus/ Vietnam has the most beautiful name of Uncle Ho".
In Dong Thap, there is a place that tourists often visit with respect and gratitude, which is the national historical and cultural relic complex of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac - where President Ho Chi Minh's father rests.
