Nghe An's seafood processing villages are busy during the Tet holiday season.

With less than two months until the 2025 Lunar New Year, considered the biggest production period of the year, people in coastal villages throughout the province are busy preparing seafood products to supply the market.

Steamed scad fish with sugarcane smoke – a specialty of the people of Nghi Thuy coastal village – is also a delicious dish on the ancestral altars of many families in Nghe An province.
