Less than 2 months to go until Lunar New Year 2025. This is considered the largest production period of the year, therefore, these days, people in coastal villages in the province are busy preparing seafood products to supply the market in time.

Smoked sugarcane sticky rice with anchovies - a specialty of the people of Nghi Thuy fishing village - is also a delicious dish on the ancestral altar of many families in Nghe An. In Nghi Thuy, there are currently 5-7 households maintaining this traditional profession because of the elaborate preparation.
