Leaders of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization presented gifts to the O Du people in Tuong Duong district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 21, a working delegation of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization led by comrade Nguyen Lam - Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization visited and presented gifts to the O Du ethnic people in Vang Mon village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district.
The O Du are one of the smallest ethnic minorities in Vietnam today and mainly live in the Vang Mon resettlement village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district with over 102 households and 421 people.

In recent years, the Party and State have had many policies and projects to help the O Du people develop their economy, reduce poverty, and preserve their culture and language. However, the poor still account for about 50%.

On this occasion, the working delegation of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization presented 90 gifts, worth over 100 million VND in total, to poor students and poor households of the O Du ethnic group in Vang Mon village.
