Party and State leaders visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum
On the morning of January 22, leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front came to lay wreaths and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
The delegation visiting President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum included Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man.
Also attending the funeral were former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former President Tran Duc Luong; former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Van An and Nguyen Sinh Hung; leaders and former leaders of the Party and State; Politburo members, Central Party Secretary, Vice President of the National Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister, veteran revolutionary cadres and leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations.

The wreath of the delegation bore the words "Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh". The Party and State leaders respectfully remembered and expressed their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of our Party and people, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution. He devoted his whole life to the people and the country, leading the Party and the people of Vietnam to glorious victories, bringing glory to the nation and the country.
Our entire Party, people and army will persistently follow the path chosen by President Ho Chi Minh, join hands, unite and strive to build a peaceful, independent, unified, democratic, prosperous and strong Vietnam, steadily advancing towards socialism.
Next, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid a wreath in memory of the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument, Bac Son Street, Hanoi.
The delegates expressed their gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons who did not hesitate to shed their blood, bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people. The wreath of the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs".
On the same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense; Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security; Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee, Steering Committee for Coordination of Activities of Ba Dinh Historical - Cultural Relic Cluster... came to lay wreaths, visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; lay wreaths, and commemorate the Heroic Martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument.
Also this morning, a delegation of Party and State leaders laid wreaths and offered incense to pay tribute to revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs at Mai Dich Cemetery - Hanoi.
