Russian opposition leader hospitalized
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was taken to hospital on the morning of August 20 after his spokeswoman Kira Yarmish said.
"This morning, Mr. Navalny returned to Moscow from Tomsk. During the flight, he felt sick. The plane made an emergency landing in Omsk," spokesman Yarmish said in a series of posts on Twitter.

"We confirm that Alexei was poisoned by something put in his tea. It was the only thing he drank this morning. Doctors said the poison would dissolve faster in hot liquids," said spokesman Yarmish.
Mr Navalny remains unconscious and is currently on a ventilator. Citing a hospital employee, Russian state media RIA Novosti said Mr Navalny was in the emergency room and his condition was “serious but stable”.
Mr Navalny previously said he may have been poisoned last July while he was in police custody and had experienced some mysterious allergic reactions./.
