For families who have good news about marriage, birth, building a new house... or funeral, Phu Yen authorities will send letters of congratulations and condolences.

On October 24, the People's Committee of Phu Yen province said that the province has agreed to assign the Department of Home Affairs and relevant parties to develop a plan and implement a model of sending congratulatory and condolence letters to each household across the province when a family has a wedding, builds a new house, has a baby... or has a death.

This move promises to demonstrate concern and create a close relationship between the government and the people.

"Heads of state management agencies, in addition to grasping events, must monitor developments taking place in the area to have policies for local households," said the leader of Phu Yen People's Committee, adding that starting next month the model will be deployed throughout the province.

The Department of Home Affairs is designing congratulatory and condolence letters and sending them to each locality. "Letters sent to households depend on the incident, but the content must be consistent, ensuring the respect of the government for the people and must be economical," this person affirmed.

In September, every citizen of Da Nang was greeted by officials who came to their homes to hand them their birth certificates, household registration books, insurance cards, and a bouquet of congratulatory flowers. In cases involving foreign elements, those who completed birth registration procedures locally were also supported by the government and received their documents at home.
