Hoang Mai town leaders dialogue with youth

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 10, 2015, at the Quynh Thien Ward Hall, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai Town organized a meeting and dialogue program between town leaders and youth.

Attending the event were comrades: Doan Hong Vu - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Council; Nguyen Huu Tuy - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Town People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee; leaders of agencies, departments and more than 100 union members and youth in the town.

At the dialogue, there were 14 questions from union members and young people revolving around issues that the youth in the town are interested in and need answers such as: Orientation to promote the role and youth strength in contributing to the construction and development of the town; labor and employment issues for young people; policies for cadres working in the Union, rotation of union cadres when their age exceeds the regulations of the Union Charter; issues of vocational training, job creation, loans for young people; policies on building entertainment venues for teenagers and children; support policies for young people building ships to go offshore, solutions to prevent union members and young people from violating the law... The questions were answered directly by comrades in the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and leaders of relevant agencies and departments at the Hall.

At the end of the Dialogue, Comrade Doan Hong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Council emphasized that organizing the Dialogue between the leaders and the youth of the town is a very meaningful activity and should be done more often. Through the opinions and questions of the youth union members, it has created opportunities for the town leaders to have more information to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the town's youth. From there, there is a basis to supplement and perfect policies, goals, solutions, and mechanisms and policies to better promote the talents and youth of the youth, contributing to building the town more and more prosperous and civilized.

Through the Dialogue, Comrade Doan Hong Vu, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, also requested departments, agencies and branches from the town to the grassroots to seriously record the opinions of the youth at the dialogue, grasp information from many other channels as a basis for consulting and proposing tasks, solutions, mechanisms and policies of the town for youth and youth work. Along with promoting youth in common work, the force of union members and youths needs to pay attention to doing well the propaganda and mobilization work, especially issues close to daily life such as family planning; compliance with the Traffic Law; food hygiene and safety... He also hopes that each union member and youth always has ideals and ambitions to become a shock force, leading in the cause of economic and social development for the goal of building a developed, civilized town, basically meeting the criteria of a type III urban area by 2020 and being recognized as a type III urban area before 2025.
