Leaders of Hoang Mai town hold dialogue with young people.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 10, 2015, at the meeting hall of Quynh Thien ward, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town organized a meeting and dialogue program between town leaders and young people.

Attending the event were: Comrade Doan Hong Vu - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Council; Comrade Nguyen Huu Tuy - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Town People's Committee; members of the Town Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of agencies and departments; and more than 100 youth union members in the town.

Overview of the dialogue session

Youth Union member Nguyen Van Ba ​​posed a question regarding the Town Party Committee's orientation on promoting the role of young people in implementing Resolution No. 11 of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of Hoang Mai Town.

During the dialogue, 14 questions were raised by youth union members and young people, revolving around issues of concern to the youth in the town that required answers, such as: Orientation for promoting the role and energy of youth in building and developing the town; employment issues for young people; policies for Youth Union officials, rotation of Youth Union officials when exceeding the age limit stipulated in the Youth Union Charter; vocational training, job placement, and loan access for young people; policies on building recreational facilities for children and teenagers; policies supporting young people in building offshore fishing vessels; and solutions to prevent Youth Union members and young people from violating the law… The questions were answered directly in the meeting hall by members of the Town Party Committee Standing Committee and leaders of relevant agencies and departments.

Concluding the Dialogue, Comrade Doan Hong Vu - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, and Chairman of the Town People's Council - emphasized that organizing dialogues between leaders and the youth of the town is a highly meaningful activity and should be done more regularly. Through the opinions and questions of the youth union members, the town leaders gained more information to understand the thoughts and aspirations of the town's youth. This provides a basis for supplementing and improving policies, objectives, solutions, and mechanisms to better promote the talents and energy of the youth, contributing to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized town.

During the dialogue, Comrade Doan Hong Vu, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, also requested that departments and agencies from the town level to the grassroots seriously record the opinions of young people at the dialogue, gather information from various channels as a basis for advising and proposing tasks, solutions, and policy mechanisms of the town regarding youth and youth work. Along with leveraging the energy of young people in common work, the youth union members need to pay attention to effectively carrying out propaganda and mobilization work, especially on issues relevant to daily life such as family planning; compliance with traffic laws; food safety and hygiene… He also hoped that each youth union member would always have ideals and aspirations to become a vanguard force, leading the way in economic and social development for the goal of building a developed and civilized town, basically meeting the criteria of a type III urban area by 2020 and being recognized as a type III urban area before 2025.
