On the occasion of the 89th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2014), on the afternoon of June 18, a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, led by Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and congratulated press agencies.

As a specialized professional association, the Nghe An Journalists Association currently has nearly 400 journalists participating in its activities. Visiting and congratulating the staff, reporters, and employees of Nghe An Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong affirmed his high appreciation for the achievements of the Editorial Board and its staff and reporters in the past period. The Chairman stated that from a newspaper publishing only 3 issues a week, Nghe An Newspaper now publishes 8 issues per week, with each issue circulating nearly 15,000 copies. Notably, as the organ of the Party Committee and the voice of the government and people of Nghe An province, Nghe An Newspaper is increasingly asserting its position as a leading unit in the development trend. The quality of each photograph, special feature, and article is becoming more in-depth and has a strong impact on social life. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his hope that Nghe An Newspaper will continue to develop and advance further to meet the increasingly high demands of the Party and people, and to accompany the development of the province.
