Provincial leaders congratulate the Provincial Women's Union on International Women's Day, March 8th.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 6th, in commemoration of International Women's Day on March 8th, a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Comrade Ho Duc Phoc – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Women's Union. Accompanying the delegation were Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and other members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, as well as representatives from several departments and offices of the Provincial Party Committee.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – highly appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Women's Union over the past year. With many innovations in content and form, the activities of women's unions at all levels have become increasingly in-depth, attracting many members to participate and bringing practical results. This affirms the role and position of women in society, making a worthy contribution to the achievements in all fields that the province has achieved over the past year.

Regarding future tasks, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Women's Union to continue to uphold its traditions and achievements, while overcoming difficulties, building stronger organizations at all levels, and continuing to make worthy contributions to the province in successfully achieving socio-economic goals in 2015 in particular and the goals of the 17th Provincial Party Congress Resolution in general.
