Provincial leaders congratulate Nghe An University of Economics

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of November 19, comrade Ho Duc Phoc – Provincial Party Secretary led a working delegation to visit and congratulate teachers and students of Nghe An University of Economics on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 and the 55th anniversary of the school's founding (1960 – 2015).

Provincial leaders, Department of Education and Training and former teachers of Nghe An University of Economics attended the ceremony.

During the 55 years of establishment and development, through the stages from primary, secondary, college, university training and joint postgraduate training, the staff, teachers and students of Nghe An University of Economics have constantly made efforts, overcome many difficulties and challenges, trained thousands of bachelors in the field of economics and technology, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources for Nghe An province in particular and the whole country in general.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc, Provincial Party Secretary, congratulated teachers and students of Nghe An University of Economics on the occasion of the school's 55th anniversary.

Congratulating the school's teachers and students on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of its tradition, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the achievements that the school has achieved are very remarkable and commendable. From that foundation, he requested the school's staff and teachers to constantly innovate, unite, be creative, and better meet the increasingly high demands of reality.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the school must research and increase practice opportunities for students, coordinate closely with businesses inside and outside the province, and organize many extracurricular activities so that students have the opportunity to access practical work.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc expressed his belief that Nghe An University of Economics has been and will continue to affirm its brand as a key university in Nghe An province, moving towards the North Central region, providing good quality and prestigious human resources for the cause of socio-economic development in the new period.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, comrade Ho Duc Phoc presented the school with a banner bearing the inscription: Nghe An University of Economics 55 years of construction and growth (1960 - 2015).

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc presented the Prime Minister's certificate of merit to teacher Nguyen Thi Lan - Head of the Department of Political Theory for her outstanding achievements in education and training.

Comrade Thai Huy Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to staff of the Management - Training Department and the Faculty of Economics - Analysis.

Also on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Nghe An University of Economics, continuing to recognize the school's achievements, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province presented the school with a banner with the inscription: Nghe An University of Economics 55 years of construction and growth (1960 - 2015).
