Provincial leaders congratulate the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee on Christmas
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 21, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong visited and wished Merry Christmas 2014 at the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee and the 19/3 Orphanage and Disabled Children Center (Nghi Dien Commune, Nghi Loc District).
Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and Religious Affairs Committee (Department of Home Affairs).
At the Catholic Solidarity Committee, on behalf of the Party Committee and provincial government, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong sent greetings to priests, male and female religious and members of the Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province for a peaceful, healthy, happy and full of God's grace Christmas in the great solidarity of the whole nation.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended and acknowledged the contributions of the Catholic Solidarity Committee in the past time, including Priest Nguyen Dang Dien. The Provincial Chairman hoped that in the coming time, priests and parishioners would continue to promote traditions, arouse more patriotic emulation movements, live a good life and follow their religion; better demonstrate their role in propagating and mobilizing parishioners to comply with the policies of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels, and continue to contribute to bringing the socio-economic development of the homeland to new heights.

The 19/3 Orphanage Center was established in 2001 and is currently caring for 50 orphans and disabled children. The center currently has 31 volunteers taking care of the children.
