On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year, on the morning of February 7th, a delegation from the province, led by Mr. Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to officials of departments, armed forces units, and some exemplary policy beneficiary families in Do Luong district. Representatives from several provincial departments and agencies also accompanied the delegation.

During the visits to the units, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Le Xuan Dai acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Do Luong district in the past year. He emphasized that 2013 is predicted to be a year of continued general difficulties, therefore, Do Luong needs to strive to successfully complete socio-economic goals, contributing to the overall development of the province. The armed forces units need to proactively develop plans, deploy forces for combat readiness, combat social evils, minimize traffic accidents, ensure peace and security for the people to celebrate Tet, and care for policy beneficiary families, elderly people living alone, and households in special difficulties, ensuring that every family can celebrate Tet.

Next, the delegation visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to Mrs. Le Thi Tu (91 years old, residing in Hamlet 3, Trang Son Commune), a relative of a fallen soldier; two beneficiaries of social policies in Hamlet 2, Boi Son Commune: Mrs. Le Thi Nam (95 years old, a veteran revolutionary); Mr. Nguyen Khac Kham (a disabled veteran, a exemplary family receiving social benefits); and the elderly couple in the locality, Mr. Nguyen Cao Que (103 years old) and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Que (105 years old) in Hamlet 5, Boi Son Commune. In his heartfelt visit to the families receiving social benefits and the elderly, Comrade Le Xuan Dai expressed the gratitude of the Party Committee and the people of the province for the contributions, sacrifices, and losses of the mothers of fallen soldiers, wounded soldiers, disabled veterans, families receiving social benefits, and those who have contributed to the revolution. He hoped that these families receiving social benefits and those who have contributed to the revolution would continue to uphold the traditions of their families and hometowns, teach their children and grandchildren to abide by the policies of the Party and the State, and contribute to building their homeland and country.
