(Baonghean.vn)- On the afternoon of November 13th, in Quynh Luong commune, Quynh Luu district, officials and residents of Hamlet 1 organized the National Unity Day celebration.

Attending and sharing in the festivities with the local people were: Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Huy - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; along with representatives from the leadership of Quynh Luu district, Quynh Luong commune, and a large number of residents from Hamlet 1 - Quynh Luong commune.

Implementing the nationwide movement for solidarity in building a cultured community life, the officials and people of Hamlet 1, Quynh Luong Commune, have wholeheartedly worked together to build a village that is increasingly modernized and civilized. The hamlet currently has 140 households, of which 120 are well-off or wealthy. The average income is over 2 million VND per person per month. Over 90% of households have achieved the title of "Cultured Family," and the hamlet has maintained its title as a "Cultured Unit" for three consecutive years. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities are maintained and developed. Infrastructure has been invested in and built to meet the needs of the people and ensure compliance with the standards of the new rural development program.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Tran Hong Chau praised, acknowledged, and highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity among the officials and people of Hamlet 1, their diligence and creativity in labor, and their unwavering determination to enrich their families, hometowns, and the country. He hoped that in the coming time, the people of Hamlet 1 would continue to promote this spirit of solidarity to build Hamlet 1 into a model hamlet, a shining example for Quynh Luong commune and Quynh Luu district. He also urged them to continue building a cultural life in the residential area, paying attention to social welfare issues, improving the cultural and economic lives of the people, and promoting the new rural development movement.
