Provincial leaders inspect the progress of new rural construction.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 9th, Comrade Dinh Viet Hong and the working group inspected the new rural development program in 14 communes registered to achieve the target in 2015 in Dien Chau district.

To date, Dien Chau district has 5 communes recognized as achieving New Rural Area standards, making it one of the leading districts in the province in building new rural areas. In 2015, 14 communes registered to achieve the goal, including 5 communes striving to meet all 19 New Rural Area criteria in the first 6 months of the year. On this occasion, the delegation inspected 5 communes: Dien Loc, Dien Hoa, Dien Nguyen, Dien Thai, and Dien Dong. These communes have all achieved between 16 and 19 criteria. The delegation also investigated the criteria that have not yet been met, such as infrastructure, health stations, rural transportation, and the environment, and made proposals to resolve obstacles and help the communes achieve the goal sooner.

At the meeting, Comrade Dinh Viet Hong acknowledged the efforts and positive approaches in building new rural areas in Dien Chau, while emphasizing: Building new rural areas requires the involvement of the entire political system and the unity of the people. To complete the unmet criteria, the most important thing is for the communes to leverage their internal resources, mobilize the synchronized participation of the government and all levels of the people, and gain support from expatriates, businesses, etc. By the end of 2015, Dien Chau will have 14 more communes completing the new rural area criteria.
