Leaders of Nghe An province lay flowers and offer incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh.

On the morning of August 29th, amidst the nationwide celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized a wreath-laying and incense-offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and various provincial departments, agencies, and units.

At the Kim Lien Special National Historical Site, the delegation respectfully offered prayers, flowers, and incense in commemoration, expressing profound gratitude and respect for President Ho Chi Minh, the brilliant leader of our Party and people, the national liberation hero, and an outstanding cultural figure.

President Ho Chi Minh dedicated and sacrificed his entire life to the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness for the Vietnamese people and the people of the world.

Eighty years ago, on September 2nd, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh, on behalf of the Provisional Government, solemnly read the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming to the people of the whole country and to all of humanity the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

President Ho Chi Minh affirmed:"...The Vietnamese nation has the right to freedom and independence, and in fact has become a free and independent nation. The entire Vietnamese people are determined to dedicate all their spirit and strength, lives and property, to upholding that right to freedom and independence."

President Ho Chi Minh's aspiration for independence, freedom, and happiness has become an immense source of motivation and strength, driving the Vietnamese people to overcome all difficulties and challenges.

National Day on September 2nd, 1945, ushered in a new era, for the first time allowing the Vietnamese people to hold their heads high, proudly becoming citizens of a free and independent nation.

The past 80 years have been a long and arduous process of struggle and sacrifice, with the nation sparing no expense, even bloodshed, simultaneously waging war and building the country to protect and develop Vietnam into a stronger and more reputable nation on the international stage as it is today.

For the past 80 years, the spirit of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd has been a tremendous source of strength for the new era, serving as an important driving force and guide for the cause of reform. The will of the Party and the aspirations of the people have created a combined strength that fosters self-reliance and self-improvement, igniting the desire for a prosperous and happy nation.

During this solemn moment, the delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee listened to excerpts from President Ho Chi Minh's reading of the Declaration of Independence, and pledged to forever study and follow his noble thoughts, ethics, and style.
