Leaders of Nghe An province offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs.
On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Heads of provincial political and social organizations; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Military Command, and Provincial Border Guard Command.


At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan), the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh.
During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to soldiers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs. Every year, on July 27, he personally sent letters, gave gifts, visited wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at cemeteries.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province vows to forever study and follow his ideology, morality, and noble style; continue to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State, and further promote the care of war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

At the memorial site of late General Secretary Le Hong Phong in Hung Thong commune, Hung Nguyen district, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate comrade Le Hong Phong (1902 - 1942), former member of the Communist International Executive Committee, former General Secretary of the Indochinese Communist Party - an outstanding leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, a staunch international communist soldier, an excellent student of leader Ho Chi Minh, a model of revolutionary morality, and an outstanding son of Nghe An.

Forty years old, nearly twenty years of continuous, heroic and enthusiastic activities, comrade Le Hong Phong devoted everything to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party and nation. The life, merits and great contributions of comrade Le Hong Phong will forever be a shining example in the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, in the memory and boundless respect of every Vietnamese person, making the tradition of the homeland shine.

Next, at the mass grave and Memorial House at Nghe Tinh Soviet Square, Hung Nguyen district, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the 217 martyrs who died on September 12, 1930 at the historic demonstration of thousands of farmers and revolutionary martyrs, during the revolutionary struggle movement in the period of 1930 - 1931, culminating in the Nghe Tinh Soviet.





The 1930-1931 revolutionary movement, culminating in the Nghe Tinh Soviet, became a brilliant milestone, opening the glorious history of the Vietnamese revolution; marking the first time that our Party - a revolutionary Party, though still very young, clearly demonstrated its role, mettle, prestige, fighting strength and great ability in leading, uniting and mobilizing the masses; affirming a profound lesson about the strength of the masses and the importance of the role of taking the people as the root in the revolutionary cause.



At the Memorial House in Quang Trung Ward (Vinh City), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express deep gratitude to comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (1910 - 1941), former member of the Southern Regional Party Committee, former Secretary of the Saigon - Cho Lon City Party Committee, an outstanding daughter of Nghe An homeland.

The life and revolutionary career of comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai is a shining example of the qualities and personality of an exemplary communist soldier, loyal to the Party and devoted to the people; skillfully combining true patriotism with pure internationalism; preserving the sacred love between husband and wife and mother and child.

She is a very noble and typical symbol of the heroic, indomitable, loyal and self-sacrificing spirit of Vietnamese women, a heroic woman in the struggle for national independence and the happiness of the people.


Delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province respectfully laid wreaths and offered incense at the Memorial and graves, expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs resting at the Vinh City Martyrs' Cemetery.


Nghe An is one of the three provinces in the country with the largest number of families of people with revolutionary contributions, relatives of martyrs and war invalids. The whole province has more than 45,000 martyrs; more than 56,000 war invalids and sick soldiers; 65,147 families of people with revolutionary contributions.
Imbued with the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho, promoting the tradition of "filial piety and charity", "remembering the source of water", Nghe An province determined that implementing policies for people with revolutionary contributions is both a deep sentiment, a great responsibility, and an extremely important political task.

Along with the correct, sufficient and timely implementation of the regimes and policies according to the regulations of the Party and the State, Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations have all been very active, proactive, closely coordinated and launched many movements and campaigns to have more resources to provide better care, support and pay more attention to policy families and families of war invalids and martyrs.


From the mobilized resources, the province has built and repaired 16,000 gratitude houses, awarded nearly 24,000 savings books to families of people with revolutionary contributions, and all Vietnamese Heroic Mothers have been taken care of.
The province has built, upgraded and repaired more than 1,000 cemeteries, memorials and steles to honor heroic martyrs; at the same time, directed the implementation and collection of more than 14,000 remains of volunteer soldiers who died in Laos for burial.

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the whole province visited and presented gifts to nearly 96,000 policy families and meritorious people, with a total budget and socialized sources of over 30 billion VND.
