At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province quickly announced the outstanding results that the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An have strived to achieve in the past year.

Economic growth rate reached 9.03%, budget revenue was over 16.3 trillion VND, the highest ever. Economic restructuring was positive, with the industry - construction - service sector accounting for over 79%... Regarding new rural construction, the whole province currently has 265 communes meeting the standards, accounting for 61.4%, higher than the national average. Social security, poverty reduction, and implementation of social policies have received great attention, implemented fully, promptly, accurately, creating consensus.

He acknowledged that many policies of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 4 have helped the people of Nghe An, especially the Western region, develop. The units stationed in the area have done practical and effective work, helping the local people in building new rural areas. The provincial leaders also thanked the Military Region Command for always accompanying and working closely with the locality over the years to promptly provide information, provide direction and coordinate in solving security issues.
