(Baonghean.vn) -On July 9th, on the occasion of the inauguration of border marker 460 and the celebration of the completion of the work to reinforce and renovate the Vietnam-Laos border markers on the ground, comrades Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Thai Van Hang - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Station.

After listening to Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Thi, the Station Chief, report on some general aspects of the unit's performance in the past period, the provincial leaders visited and inspected the working and living quarters of the unit's officers and soldiers.

The provincial leaders paid special attention to the facilities ensuring the living conditions and operational readiness of the officers and soldiers of Thanh Thuy Border Guard Post. They also highly appreciated the efforts of the officers and soldiers, noting that although the unit was newly established and its facilities were not yet stable and standardized, with investment from all levels and the hard work of the officers and soldiers, the unit's grounds and landscape have been created to be orderly, green, clean, and beautiful.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - expressed his hope that the officers and soldiers of the unit would continue to build upon their achievements, strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks, and contribute to protecting security and order in the border region.
