Provincial leaders visit and present gifts to beneficiaries of social policies.
(Baonghean.vn) – To commemorate the 68th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27), on the morning of July 20, Mr. Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to the Home for the Care of Relatives of Martyrs in Dien Chau district and two exemplary policy beneficiary families in Nghi Loc district.
The Nghệ An Martyrs' Relatives Care Center, located in Diễn Châu district, currently cares for and supports 29 beneficiaries of government policies throughout the province, including Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, relatives of martyrs, and war invalids. With affection, gratitude, and a sense of responsibility, the center has successfully fulfilled its assigned duties over the years, ensuring the health, welfare, and living conditions of its beneficiaries.

In discussions with officials, staff, and relatives of families receiving preferential treatment, Comrade Le Xuan Dai stated that the Party committees, government, and people of Nghe An province are always grateful for the sacrifices made by these families for the cause of national defense; and expressed his wish that the mothers and siblings continue to live happily and healthily. He requested that the officials and staff of the Home for the Care of Martyrs' Relatives continue to further promote their sense of responsibility and provide more attentive care and support to the heroic Vietnamese mothers and relatives of martyrs.

In Nghi Loc district, Comrade Le Xuan Dai visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Phong, 103 years old, mother of two martyrs Pham Van Thanh and Pham Van Tinh, in Hamlet 15, Nghi Trung commune, and war invalid 1/4 Le Quy Doai (born in 1958) in Hamlet 13, Nghi Long commune.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee cordially inquired about the health of the families and encouraged them to strive to overcome difficulties, build stable lives, live exemplary lives, strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and enthusiastically participate in local activities. He also expressed his hope that the Party committees, authorities at all levels, and the people of Nghi Loc district would continue to pay more attention to the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries, especially those families facing difficulties, to partially compensate for the sacrifices and losses of the mothers, wounded soldiers, and sick soldiers, and to honor the martyrs who bravely sacrificed themselves for the peace and independence of the country and the freedom of the people.
