Provincial leaders received a delegation of traditional veterans of 3 historic campaigns in Vietnam

(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of February 7, a delegation of traditional veterans of 3 historical campaigns of Vietnam led by comrade Nguyen Van Vy - Head of the Liaison Committee visited and worked at Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Receiving the delegation, on the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Dinh Tuan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

On behalf of the delegation of traditional veterans of 3 historical campaigns of Vietnam, comrade Nguyen Van Vy thanked the provincial leaders and related sectors for creating favorable conditions for the pilgrimage program with the purpose of repaying gratitude, repaying kindness, and showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the country in Nghe An in December 2016 to be a great success.

Presenting flowers to congratulate Nghe An province on the occasion of the New Year of the Rooster 2017, on behalf of the delegation, comrade Nguyen Van Vy wished the provincial leaders and people of Nghe An good health and continued efforts to build a civilized and prosperous life, worthy of being the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho.

Expressing his gratitude to the sentiments of the Veterans of the Three Historical Campaigns of Vietnam for Nghe An province, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son expressed his joy at the success of the pilgrimage program with the purpose of repaying gratitude, repaying kindness, and showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the country of the delegation in Nghe An province and other localities.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that through the journey, the veterans have brightened the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers; the glorious revolutionary tradition of our country and fueled the flame of revolutionary tradition for generations and localities.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son informed the delegation about the situation of Dinh Dau Tet 2017 in Nghe An which was organized happily, safely, healthily and economically. After Tet, the whole province immediately deployed to carry out the tasks of 2017 with an urgent atmosphere, continued to implement the Spring crop, removed difficulties for businesses, focused on directing works and projects and is preparing for the Dinh Dau Spring 2017 Investor Meeting.

On the occasion of the Spring of Dinh Dau, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee sent New Year greetings, health, happiness, and many new joys to the delegation of traditional veterans of 3 historical campaigns of Vietnam and presented New Year gifts to the delegation.

The Traditional Veterans Group of 3 Historical Campaigns of Vietnam includes veterans who participated in and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign (1954), Dien Bien Phu in the Air (1972) and Ho Chi Minh Campaign (1975).
