Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An province attended the groundbreaking ceremony of a people's bridge in Nam Dan district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 24, in Nam Linh commune (Nam Dan), the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the village bridge in hamlet 6 took place. This is a meaningful activity before the conference to summarize the socio-economic development program between Ho Chi Minh City and the northern and north-central provinces.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony, on behalf of Ho Chi Minh City, there were comrades: Vo Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Duong Anh Duc - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Nguyen Quoc Bao - Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Club and businessmen and philanthropists.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Nam Dan district.

The bridge project in Hamlet 6, Nam Linh Commune (Nam Dan) is designed to be 6.5m wide, 7m long, and has a load capacity of 6 tons, with a total construction cost of more than 500 million VND.
This is one of 100 community bridges nationwide sponsored by the Vietnam Real Estate Club and philanthropists with the call and mobilization of comrade Truong Hoa Binh - former member of the Politburo, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao - Chairman of Vietnam Real Estate Club shared that the charity bridge building activity is a dedicated program of Vietnam Real Estate Club and Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Club with the motto "Connecting the shore of joy", thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of localities.

"We will build the bridge as soon as possible, and at the same time, expand the bridge surface to help people in hamlet 6, Nam Linh commune travel more conveniently, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of Nam Linh commune in particular and Nam Dan district in general," Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao emphasized.

On behalf of the locality and people, Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Chairman of Nam Dan District People's Committee sent his thanks to the businessmen and philanthropists. The district will direct Nam Linh commune to closely coordinate with the contractor to construct and complete the bridge as soon as possible.
