Nghe An worker fell from 8th floor at construction site

(Baonghean.vn) - A worker in Nghe An fell from the 8th floor and suffered serious injuries. The victim was Nguyen Gia Hai (37 years old), from Hamlet 3, Thanh Tuong Commune (Thanh Chuong).

Mr. Nguyen Gia Hai is being treated at Hospital E (Hanoi).

Previously, at 6:30 p.m. on March 23, from the 8th floor of a construction site on Hoang Dao Thuy Street, Thanh Xuan District (Hanoi), Mr. Hai was looking for a way down to the ground when he suddenly fell from the elevator on the 1st floor at a height of about 25m.

A friend who worked with Mr. Hai said that after the fall, the victim lay motionless on the stairs. After first aid at the scene, people present called 115 to take him to the emergency room. Doctors said that Mr. Hai had a ruptured spleen, broken arms, a broken pelvis, a cracked back, and internal bleeding.

After more than 2 days of treatment at E Hospital (Cau Giay District, Hanoi), Mr. Hai's health condition is progressing well. He is awake and can talk to people around him.

It is known that Mr. Hai is a wood painter, has been working in Hanoi for many years, and comes from a family with difficult circumstances. His mother passed away a long time ago, his father is weak, and his younger sister is sick, mute, and deaf.
