Although he was previously very afraid of snakes, Mr. Le Van Van still decided to risk selling his cows, goats and garden to invest in raising king cobras.

It was his boldness and daring in business that helped Mr. Van establish a “huge” snake farm with 150 snakes, generating an income of over 100 million VND/year. This year he is 55 years old and spends all day around snakes.

Mr. Van's family snake farm

Each mother snake, after a mating period of 2 months, will lay between 15 and 18 eggs.

After nearly 90 days, the snake eggs will hatch into baby snakes and be incubated with a light bulb.

The mother cobras are only 2 years old but are very long and big.

Mr. Van built the snake's habitat into small cages, 80cm long and wide.

Line with sand or dry soil to give your snake a wild habitat.

Mr. Van is cleaning the cage to prevent snakes from getting fungus when molting.
