Jumping into a deep well to save his nephew, two uncles and nephews died.
The uncle died with his nephew while saving him from falling into a deep well.
On the morning of December 7, the leader of the People's Committee of Long Phuoc Ward, Phuoc Long Town, Binh Phuoc Province, said that an incident of two uncles and nephews drowning had just occurred in the area. The uncle's name was Le Cong Chai (born in 1994), and the nephew's name was Le Nguyen Bao Minh (born in 2013).

Initial information, at around 7pm, December 6, at the house under repair, while the family was eating, Minh was running and playing nearby but unfortunately slipped and fell into a deep well covered only with cardboard.
Seeing the child in trouble, Mr. Chai climbed down to save him. A while later, he found him and tied a rope for people to pull him up. At this time, Minh's body was purple and he was taken to the emergency room but died soon after.

Then everyone threw a rope down to pull Chai up but due to exhaustion he sank to the bottom of the well.
Upon receiving the news, Long Phuoc Ward Police arrived at the scene and called the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Rescue Team for assistance, but due to the deep well and small mouth, the rescue work was difficult. The victim's body was not brought up until around 10 p.m../.
