Establish a youth volunteer team to sell clean agricultural products to help farmers
(Baonghean.vn) - To help farmers in the district consume and promote local agricultural products, Con Cuong District Youth Union established a volunteer youth team to provide clean agricultural products to consumers inside and outside the district.

Implementing the project of growing safe vegetables according to VietGAP standards in the period of 2016 - 2020 of Con Cuong district, currently, in Bong Khe, Chi Khe communes and the town, a number of farming households have produced vegetables according to clean standards. In particular, in Chi Khe commune, the Agricultural and Seedlings Cooperative is a pioneer in the model of growing American melons and tomatoes in greenhouses; growing eggplants and squash according to the drip irrigation process... Currently, these products are in the harvest season.
With the desire to introduce clean agricultural products produced by local farmers to consumers inside and outside the district, Con Cuong District Youth Union has established a Youth Volunteer Team to help sell products for people.

Accordingly, the volunteer team of 10 members, including cadres and youth union members from a number of grassroots Youth Union organizations in the area, went directly to agricultural production sites to collect, classify and package each type of product.
According to Mr. Le Khanh Luc - Secretary of the Con Cuong Town Youth Union: "The items that the volunteer team promotes and sells are tomatoes, squash, eggplants..., all sold at the right price. We hope that this approach will contribute to promoting clean vegetables and fruits produced by farmers in the district, while helping consumers choose clean foods that ensure nutrition and high safety."

In addition to promoting and selling products on Facebook, the Volunteer Team will open sales points in town centers and deliver products directly to customers.
Ms. Luong Thi Huong - Deputy Secretary of Con Cuong District Youth Union shared: "The volunteer team is a bridge to consume products for the people. This is also one of the social security activities, actively participating in the local socio-economic development of Con Cuong district youth".
