Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 945/QD-TTg dated August 11, 2023 establishing the Prime Minister's Working Group to implement Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly on reviewing the system of legal documents (Working Group).

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang is the Head of the Working Group.

Deputy Heads of the Working Group are: Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long (Permanent Deputy Head); Minister, Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son.

Members of the Working Group include: Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Minister of Finance Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Duy Lan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Doan Thai Son, Deputy Head of the Government Office Cao Huy, Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Duy Thang, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoang Hiep.

Tasks of the Working Group

The Working Group is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in directing and urging the implementation of the task of reviewing the system of legal documents as required in Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly; coordinating with the Working Group of the National Assembly Standing Committee established under Resolution No. 829/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated July 20, 2023. The Working Group regularly monitors the implementation situation, ensuring close coordination between the Working Group's standing body and relevant ministries, agencies and agencies of the National Assembly in the process of reviewing, synthesizing and processing the review results, and developing the Government's Report as required in Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly. The working group must promptly synthesize and report to the Government and the Prime Minister before September 15, 2023 to promptly seek the National Assembly's opinions on necessary issues under the National Assembly's authority at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

In addition, the Working Group will research and propose solutions to submit to competent authorities for consideration and decision on the drafting of a Law amending and supplementing relevant laws to remove difficulties in production and business; and perform other related tasks as assigned and directed by the Prime Minister.

Working regime of the Working Group

The Working Group works collectively, promoting the personal responsibility of the leader; members of the Working Group work part-time and are responsible for assigned tasks.

The Working Group is responsible for reporting to the Prime Minister on the working status of the Working Group and reporting ad hoc at the request of the Prime Minister.

The Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Working Group uses the Prime Minister's seal when signing directive documents; the Minister of Justice - Permanent Deputy Head of the Working Group and the members of the Working Group use the seal of their ministries and agencies when signing documents to perform assigned tasks.

The Ministry of Justice is the standing agency of the Working Group, using the existing apparatus to organize the implementation of the Working Group's tasks./.
